Cure Acne: How to Have Clear Skin Without Really Trying

We all want to have clear skin without really trying. But is achieving clear skin really that hard to do?

Having clear skin can be simple, easy and stress free. Ideally, it should be part of your daily routine. Here are things you can do that can help you achieve and maintain clear skin effortlessly:

1. Drink lots of water. It will keep your skin hydrated as well as help in ridding your body of unwanted toxins. 8 glasses a day is recommended.

2. Wash your face. Wash your face at two times a day, in the morning and at night before going to bed, with a mild facial cleanser. Use a cleanser that is suitable for your skin type.

3. Do not scrub your skin raw because rigorous scrubbing will leave your skin irritated, and in some cases, scarred.

4. Use warm water for washing your face so that the pores will open and send out the excess oil and dead skin cells. Rinse your face with cool or cold water to close the pores after washing.

5. Remove makeup. If you use makeup, never sleep with makeup on. Makeup will only clog your pores and  serve as a breeding ground for bacteria which will cause more acne.

6. Sweat. Do some exercises, run, dance, jog, do aerobics just to work up a sweat for at least 30 minutes a day. Sweating will help clear out your pores and improve blood circulation.

7. Tea. Use tea for washing your face. Tea will help cleanse your face and rid it of dead skin cells and other toxins.

8. Pillowcases and towels. Change your pillowcases weekly and your facial towels daily. Dirty laundry that you use for your face is a breeding ground for bacteria and may cause acne or worsen whatever acne you already have. Use clean towels when drying your face. .

9. Pat dry and do not scrub your face dry with a towel to avoid additional irritation to your skin.

10. Greasy air. Avoid areas where the air is heavy with grease like restaurant or fast food kitchens. The greasy air will add oil to your face as well as sticky dust and grime.

11. Moisturize. You need to moisturize your skin to keep it healthy, soft and supple. Use moisturizers that are oil-free so that it will not add oil to your skin.

12. Steam. Use steam to cleanse your face by putting hot water in a bowl and by holding your face over the bowl with a towel over your head for 5 to 10 minutes or until the steam is gone. Steaming cleanses the skin by pulling out the toxins and impurities from inside your pores.

13. Don't pick or prick. If you already have acne or pimples, do not pick or prick them. Picking or pricking might cause your pimples to get infected instead of improving your condition.

As you may have noticed, the suggestions listed are mostly things you routinely do and which you can modify or add to your daily regimen without any effort at all.

Beating acne and achieving clear skin is something you can easily do, once you have the information you need to create a suitable treatment and care regimen. Information such as knowing your particular skin type and correctly diagnosing your particular acne problem can save you a lot of wasted time, effort and money.

Voltaire (and your grandmother) recognized long ago that humor and laughter are good for you. You've probably noticed yourself that you simply feel better after a good belly laugh. The problem, of course, is that your sense of humor generally abandons you right when you need it the most – on the tough days. But if you manage to bring your sense of humor to your daily conflicts on your job, your relationship with your spouse and children, and your health or financial problems, you'll go a long way toward improving the quality of your life; and you'll boost your physical health and well-being. – Paul E.
